Clinging to the Sunnah by Shaykh al-Uthaymeen

This book is a study of the beliefs of non-Islamic religions, such as worshippers of the sun and planets, Christianity, idolaters, and many others, and also the opinions of Islamic groups and their doctrines such as the Mu’tazilah, al-Jahmiyyah, al-Qadariyyah, Shiites and other Islamic sects. It is an in-depth study of these beliefs and groups, and this edition has useful comments that serve the topic.
Unlike other similar books, this book is distinguished by a complete boldness in criticism, prudence in thought, discussion of thoughts of different Islamic and Non-Islamic groups and their criticism based on what was adopted by each group, then referring thereafter to the decisive and correct interpretation of the Qur’an and the Sunnah.
It took Ibn Hazm, may Allah have mercy upon him, up to twenty years to write this book, and he kept refining it and adding to it until his death.
Excellent edition in 3 volumes, reviewed, authenticated and annotated by two Saudi researchers from the Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University (major research work based on 14 manuscripts).
