Fascinating notions of Arabic grammar

My copybook of the Arabic alphabet

This book is one of the most outstanding works of Abu Muhammad ibn Qutaybah ad-Dīnawarī, an Arab author, jurist, Muhaddith (interpreter of Hadith) and historian. He has written many books, the most famous of which is ‘Uyun al-Akhbar.
In this book, the expression abyāt al-ma'ānī refers to the poetic verses that have ambiguous meaning, and they are called so because hearing them requires asking about their meanings, which prompted many scholars to be interested in this discipline (to interpret these verses).
Among the most prominent of these analytical books and most classified is Kitāb al-Ma'ānī al-kabīr of ad-Dīnawarī, which he divided into several Sections: First: Horses, Second: Beasts, Third: Food and Hospitality, Fourth: Flies... He divided each Section into several chapters, and the book is a reference for the literary connoisseur; it is characterized by its sublime language style, the beauty of its meanings and entertainment, enriched with scientific footnotes.
