The author discussed in this book a great issue related to the etiquette that both companions and brothers should be endowed with, the etiquette related to a brother’s right over his brother and a friend over his friend in Islam.

The author has perfectly drafted the subject matter in this book and gave it an orderly context. He would mention a particular character and say: Among its etiquette is such and such, then he would provide its evidence from the Qur’an, the transmitted Hadiths, and the traditions of the Companions and the Followers and the successors after them, while also referring to the use of poetry and inspirational anecdotes of wisdom. He would sometimes quote the Hadiths and traditions with their chains of transmission, and then he would move on to discuss the next character. It should be noted that the book was not classified, and all its subtitles are the work of the book’s examiner, and the Hadiths of this book amounted to two hundred and ten.

It is a precious book by a noble-minded author Abu Abdul Rahman Al-Salami, and it has satisfactory traditions on the etiquette of companionship.
