Min Balaghah al-Quran (The Eloquence of the Quran) - Muhammad Al-Banna
من بلاغة القرآن - محمد إبراهيم البنا
Min Balaghah al-Qur’an (The Eloquence of the Qur’an) by Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Banna
This is a book printed for the first time from the legacy of the great scholar, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim al-Banna, may Allah have mercy on him. It is a book that is easy to read and understand, gentle in reference, and accessible to the readers. Its origins are a series of radio episodes prepared and presented by Sheikh Al-Banna in a radio program in Makkah Al-Mukarramah entitled “Min Balaaghat al-Qur’an”, between the years 1986 and 1987 AD, when he was delegated to teach at Umm Al-Qura University. The author used a different approach to semantic differences than all other writers, dealing with the disparities between Qur'anic words with common meanings by referring to the context and its requirements; the context ensures that the veils of concealed meanings be revealed.
The two honourable researchers took care of the material of this book, correcting, reviewing and publishing it, without any interference from them in the text, so it came, as we hope, as its venerable author intended.
This fascinating book has a lovely preface by the scholar and master of rhetoricians, Dr. Muhammed Muhammed Abu Musa, may Allah grant him a long life of goodness and wellbeing.
