“Zaad al-Ma’ad fi Hadiy Khair al-‘Ibad” is a precious book, by Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, that is rarely matched. Rather, it is unique in its field. The author, indeed, has made it a collection if all that is related to the Prophet, may Allah’s Prayers and Peace be upon him, be it a saying, a deed, or a report.

The book is about the life of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in every sense of the word. It discusses the biography of the Prophet on its surface, but the author adorned this sublime biography with various subjects: jurisprudence, issues of Halal and Haram, ethics, monotheism and guidance.

The best biography of the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, according to Shaykh al-Uthaymeen.
