Tafseer al-Jalalayn with notes and Tahqiq

Tafsir at-Tahrir wa at-Tanwir (Interpretation of verification and enlightenment) is a work of Quranic exegesis (Tafsir) by sheikh Muhammad at-Tahir Ibn ‘Ashur, Sheikh of Az-Zaytouna University in Tunis.
It is one of the most important interpretations referred to by specialists. Through this book, the author was able to place himself among the most prominent scholars of the interpretation of the Qur’an, and this Tafsir is one of the most prominent interpretations of the modern era that was written in respect to the theory of systems according to Al-Jurjani.
This book is a culmination of his fifty years of work, where Ibn ‘Ashur has poured in all of his innovative and reformist approaches. His approach is most notably characterized by his emphasis on the rhetorical aspect of the Qur'an, instead of relying entirely on the scientific heritage of interpretation.
“At-Tahrir wa at-Tanwir”, which is the title shortened by Sheikh Ibn ‘Ashur in the preface to his book, was published in Tunisia by the Tunisian House of Publishing in 1984 in 30 parts under the title "Tafsir at-Tahrir wa at-Tanwir".
This is the brand new revised edition in 12 volumes resulting from the collaboration between Dar ibn Hazm and Dar Sahnoun (Tunisia).
