Al-Muharrar al-Wajiz fi Tafsir al-Kitāb al-'Aziz or shortly named al-Muharrar al-Wajiz, better known as Tafsir Ibn 'Atiyya , written by Abu Muhammad Abd al-Haqq Ibn 'Atiyya al-Andalusi.
An easy-to-read book that acknowledges and selects well-known interpretations without hyperbole; he frequently references Ibn Jarir and others in their discussions. He regularly quotes from Arabic poetry and literature. He uses Arabic to communicate various meanings. He is particularly interested in grammatical artistry. In his Fatwas, Imam Ibn Taymiyyah compared Ibn Atiyya's interpretation to Az-Zamakhshari's interpretation, saying: “Ibn Atiyya's interpretation is better than Az-Zamakhshari's interpretation; it is more correct in transmission and research, and it is free of heresies, even if it contains some of them. In fact, it is far superior to all other interpretations.”
Economical edition based on the Tahqiq by a group of researchers who have worked on numerous manuscripts to verify the text and publish it.
