Tawq Al-Hamamah fil-Ulfah wal-Ullaaf, by Imam Ibn Hazm

This is a thesis on the nature of love, its meanings, causes and symptoms, and what actually falls into it, truly as it is, neither increased nor captivated. It discusses the origins of love and how to reach the heart of the beloved, while referring also to the ugliness of the sin and the virtue of self-restraint from it.

A serious edition verified from the manuscript and incorporating the work of previous editions, correcting some errors and adding some explanations necessary for a proper understanding of Ibn Hazm's work.
