Bada-i' as-Sana-i' fi Tartib ash-Shara-i' - al-Kasani Al-Hanafi
بدائع الصنائع في ترتيب الشرائع - الكاساني الحنفي
It is one of the books dealing with the branches of Hanafi jurisprudence; a comprehensive book covering the Chapters of Islamic jurisprudence according to the Four Schools of Thought. It was composed by Imam 'Ala' al-Din al-Kasani Al-Hanafi, who died in 587 AH. It is a commentary on Sheikh Alaa al-Din al-Samarqandi's Hanafi work, “Tuhfat al-Fuqaha,” which is a commentary on Mukhtasar al-Qadduri. The author has organized the issues in this commentary around the evidence. He discusses the difference between Hanafi jurists and other jurists of different Schools of Thought, providing brief evidence for each; then he prefers one of them when he says “our” and explains it in depth.
He primarily cites the opinions of Abu Hanifa and his two companions, Abu Yusuf and Muhammad Ibn Al-Hasan Al-Shaybani, as well as Zufar Ibn Al-Hudhayl and Ash-Shafi'i, and analyzes the evidence for each of their claims. The book is noteworthy by its simple language and use of Hadith evidence to support the jurisprudential rulings it includes.
