Al-Mumti' fi Sharh al-Muqni' li Ibn Qudamah - Ibn Munja (695H)
الممتع في شرح المقنع - الامام زين الدين المنجى التنوخي
“Al-Mumti’ fi Sharh al-Muqni’” is one of the most important jurisprudential books in the Hanbali school of thought. It was written by Imam Zain al-Din Ibn al-Munja (631-695 AH). It is an explanation of the book “Al-Muqni’” by Ibn Qudamah al-Maqdisi.
Ibn al-Munja explained al-Muqni’ in a comprehensive manner, reviewing the narrations and aspects and providing evidence for each narration and using rational and narrational evidence. He also mentioned the opinions of his companions on each issue.
This book is distinguished by its clear and easy style of explaining jurisprudential rulings, while documenting evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah and explaining the sayings of jurists.
This very well known and often commented Hanbali book is finally printed in full-version for the first time, with a great Tahqiq from several manuscritps.
