“Al-Nab' Al-Safi Sharh Kitab Al-Kafi” is a significant work that represents the first complete Sharh on Imam Ibn Qudama's book "Al-Kafi." The Sharh was written by Hanbali jurist Muhammad bin Humood Al-Wa'ili (d. 1432 AH), based on his lectures at the Prophet's Mosque over six and a half years.
Scholar and researcher Kamila Al-Kawari then reviewed and enhanced the material and gave it its current title. Al-Kawari expanded the work through corrections, clarifications, and explanations of the established Hanbali school positions. She completed sections that Al-Wa'ili hadn't covered, while carefully examining terminology and providing proper citations. Known for her research quality, this work may be her finest contribution yet.
The book includes Ibn Qudama's original text, followed by Al-Wa'ili's interpretation, with Al-Kawari's additions in the footnotes. It spans 20 volumes, with the final volume dedicated to indexes.
This Sharh is considered an excellent reference for students and researchers in Hanbali Fiqh. It helps in understanding the text of "Al-Kafi" in a deeper and more accurate way. It contributes to the dissemination of fiqh knowledge and makes it easier for students.
