This book “Dawaabit fi Al-Jarh wa Ta'deel” was written by the Hadith scholar Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al-Abd Al-Latif, an Associate Professor at the College of Hadith at the Islamic University of Madinah.

It is a textbook for study at the College of Hadith at the Islamic University of Madinah. It was selected to be taught to students of the College of Hadith; and this indicates the scientific value contained in the book, which you should not miss. The book is easy in its wording and arranged in high accuracy.

It is one of the best books on the regulations of discrediting and accrediting the narrators of Hadith, and Dr. Abdulaziz, may Allah have mercy on him, taught the book to his students at the College of Hadith at the Islamic University of Madinah for several years. He used to benefit from the students' questions when he explained some of their expressions, adding to them or restricting them, and then he would include those additions in his book and remove some phrases.

Very beautiful Saudi edition, the latest one, with an appendix of about a hundred pages that focuses on the case of the narrator of Hadith Isra'il ibn Yunus as-Sabi'i.
