Ibn Al-Qayyim's book "The Disease and The Cure" is one of the most beneficial books in refining souls and urging them to refrain from sins and transgressions. Due to its fame and benefit, the book has been summarized many times, including this book before us which its author named Ash-Shifaa. It is the essence and core of Ibn Al-Qayyim's book, and in it, God willing, is the cure from the disease of desires and the treatment for sick hearts and souls.
The writer summarized Ibn Al-Qayyim's words, including only the authentic hadiths, referenced the quotes he mentioned, gathered his scattered discussions in one place where possible, and left out some digressions that went beyond the book's purpose. He presented all of this in a beautiful, elegant edition with colored verses.
