In this book, Sheikh Abul Hasan Nadwi, may Allah have mercy on him, has addressed the students of knowledge in particular, and the Muslim youth in general, and included his vast religious and intellectual experiences and extensive practical experiences in the field of education, reform, Da’wah, and leadership; he simply reminded them of the religious responsibilities placed on their shoulders.

The book also contains guidelines, instructions and advice for teachers, educators, leaders, Islamic school officials, owners of research centres, and those in charge of Da’wah institutions.

Sheikh Nadwi urged them all to carry out their duties in this difficult period in the history of Islam and Muslims, so that the Islamic nation may return to its religion again, and will be able, by the Grace of Allah Almighty, to lead humanity again. The land scorched by materialistic philosophies will then be overwhelmed by the light of Islam, and both the tormented and blessed nations will be warmed by the refreshing warmth of Shari’ah.
