Ulum al-Hadith (Muqaddimah Ibn Salah) - with annotations of al-Iraqi

علوم الحديث (مقدمة ابن الصلاح) ومعه شرحه التقييد والإيضاح للحافظ العراقي

This is the most prominent book in the Science of Hadith terminology in which Ibn As-Salah has mentioned 65 types of Hadith Sciences.  It has received considerable attention from subsequent authors who explained, abridged and set it to poetry and it became an example for latter books of its genre.

Ibn Hajar said that because Ibn As-Salah "Gathered in it what had been previously dispersed throughout other books, people focused upon it, following his methodology. The works are innumerable in which this book has been set to verse, abridged, added to and subtracted from, disagreed with and supported".

This immense work is published with the annotations of Hafidh al-’Iraqi (806H), as well as the annotations of the Muhaqqiq, Sheikh Muhammad Raghib at-Tabbakh, Egyptian scholar of the last century.
