Sharh Muqaddimah Tafsir at-Tabari - Dr Musa'id at-Tayyar

Explanation of the introduction of Tafsir at-Tabari by Dr Musaid at-Tayyar.

This is an explanation of the introduction by the Imam of exegetes, Ibn Jarir at-Tabari, to his famous Tafsir "Jami' al-Bayan." Sheikh Musaid at-Tayyar states that he explained this introduction and commented on it multiple times. Then his lessons were transcribed, studied, and revised. The resulting text was then given to specialists who are well-versed in at-Tabari's Tafsir to review, discuss, and add to it until it was refined and printed.

The book follows the well-known format of books of Sharh, where the author quotes Tabari's words on a page or more, and follows them by the explanation and commentary section by section. The introduction to Tafsir at-Tabari focused on the linguistic aspect, as is well known.
