Andalusia of the 5th century was a rather free land according to modern criteria. Thus, although under Muslim rulers, Jewish and Christian scholars were free to speak and thus to criticize certain things of the Muslim religion. In this Risala, it is Ibn Hazm who refutes one of his contemporaries with force.

The Risalah is at the end of the book, and the author of Tahqiq of this last produced a long research on Ibn Hazm and its time, as well as the methodology of Ibn Hazm in the Islamic sciences, in which it was sometimes distinguished.
