Love as portrayed in the Noble Qur’an - Abdu As-Sattar al-Marsoumi
This is an objective Qur’anic study of love in the Noble Qur’an, which came to clarify the reality of love. It is the influential drive and motivator for the actions and words that the individual performs in his life; it is the source and the real stimulus that reflects the individual’s behaviour towards his Creator, Glory be to Him, and towards others around him.
When a person decides to choose, he does not accompany or sit or walk except with whom he loves, he does not eat except what he loves, he does not wear except what he loves, and he does not read except what he loves. When a person loves something, his soul will feel relaxed and pleased with it, but if he does not love it, his soul will obviously reject it. Accordingly, this book has addressed the wrong concept of love, studied its origins and explained its details in the Noble Qur’an.
