Al-Musawwadah is a work written by 3 generations of the Ibn Taymiyyah family: Abu al-Barakat Majd ad-Din Abdul-Salam ibn Taymiyyah (652H), his son Shihab ad-Din Abdulhalim ibn Abdessalam ibn Taymiyyah (682H) and his famous grandson, Ahmad ibn Abdelhalim ibn Taymiyyah (728H).
This work of Usool Fiqh is particular, because the science of Usul Fiqh is usually divided into two great schools, Hanafi School and Shafii School (which have been followed for all or part by the majority of scholars). Here the authors, Hanbali recognized, have compared and analyzed the rules and foundations of his schools, quoted their arguments, quoted the opinions Hanbali and finally exposed the divergence and the most solid opinions.
Excellent Saudi edition in 2 volumes, fruit of the PhD thesis of Muhaqqiq, verified from 5 manuscripts, with many annotations on the text, the people cited, the hadiths and the context.
